1. Who we are

Fasal Bhai is a crop and khet advisory app for Indian farmers (wheat, rice, cotton, vegetables). The Service is operated by Stratovista Internet Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

2. Information we collect

a. Account & contact information

• Mobile number (required for login / account)
• Name or email, if you choose to provide them
• Support messages you send to us

b. Farming & booking information

• Crop type you select (e.g. wheat, rice, cotton, vegetables)
• Issue labels and notes you share when booking expert calls
• Preferred booking date/time and call status
• Q&A topics you view (to improve the library)

c. Device & usage data

• Device model, OS version, and app version
• Approximate IP-based location / network info
• Crash logs and performance diagnostics
• Basic feature usage (screens opened, actions taken)

d. Payments (only if paid features are enabled)

If you purchase paid access in the future, payment card or UPI details are processed by authorised payment partners (for example Google Play or other payment providers). We do not store your full card numbers on our servers.

3. How we use your information

• Create and manage your Fasal Bhai account
• Provide crop advisory, Q&A, and expert call booking
• Match bookings with crop type and issue context
• Send important service notices (security, booking updates)
• Improve reliability, content quality, and farmer experience
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and Terms violations
• Comply with applicable Indian law

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

4. Sharing

We may share limited data only when needed:

• With trusted processors (cloud hosting, analytics, notifications) under confidentiality obligations
• With agriculture experts fulfilling your booked call (crop/issue context you provided)
• With payment partners if you make a purchase
• When required by law, court order, or to protect users and the Service

5. Data retention

We keep account and booking records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes. When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period (typically within 72 hours of confirming the request), except where law requires longer retention.

• Request a copy of personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
• Opt out of non-essential marketing notifications (device/app settings)

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please protect your device and OTP codes.

8. Children's privacy

Fasal Bhai is intended for a general audience of farmers and farm households. If you are under 13, use the App only with parental guidance. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate consent.

9. Digital-only service

Fasal Bhai provides digital crop advisory (in-app guidance, Q&A, and expert call coordination). We do not sell or ship seeds, fertiliser, pesticides, or other physical farm inputs.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
